The Texas Senior/Master Volleyball (TS/MV) has sponsored a Texas Age Group Championship Event rotating the playing site around the state year to year.  This event has been scheduled during the month of May.  In rotating, the system employed was started in Central Texas to North, to Southeast, and to the South and back to Central.  The true reason for starting this event was never really accomplished, as being, the true reason was to create an “age group championship” between the three USA Volleyball Regions of Texas, i.e., North Texas, Sun Country, and Lone Star.

 

The year 2010, there has been a change in Presidency of the TS/MV and there will be other changes.  One change being considered for 2011 is prior to the USA Volleyball Championships that are scheduled in late May, that a “pre-nationals” event be conducted to help prepare the teams for the Nationals.
